The centerpiece of the conference will be at the Michigan League (911 North University Avenue, Ann Arbor) conveniently located near the center of campus. Originally opened in 1929 and classically designed, the Michigan League is a terrific location for meetings and special events. Located within the Michigan League building, the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre is an intimate, shoe-box theatre seating 644. Decorated with solid oak paneling that creates an atmosphere of elegance and charm, the Mendelssohn Theatre is perfect for conferences. Just down the hallway in the Michigan League are similarly designed, tasteful private dining rooms, meeting rooms and a large ballroom.

Parking is not available in University of Michigan staff parking structures. There is visitor parking near the Michigan League in the Palmer Structure (N26) located off of 200 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, 48109.  Spaces are limited and fill up quickly.

PUBLIC PARKING
Parking in downtown Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan campus is very limited. Public safety officials and Parking officials are diligent in issuing tickets to improperly parked vehicles, and retrieving a car that is towed can cost several hundred dollars. Any tickets you receive are your responsibility.

There are 6 larger parking structures downtown. They are $1.10/hour, unless indicated otherwise.

• Ann & Ashley Parking Structure (hourly parking until 4 pm, $3 flat rate entry fee after 4 pm M-F & all day Sat.)

• Fourth & Washington Parking Structure Fourth & William Parking Structure
• Liberty Square (Tally Hall) Parking Structure (hourly parking until 3 pm, $3 flat rate entry fee after 3 pm M-F & all day Sat.)

• Library Lane Underground Parking Structure (Offers electric charging stations)

 

METERED LOTS
There are 9 metered lots throughout the downtown. Cost: $1.40/hour, Monday through Saturday, 8am-6pm. Free on evenings, Sundays and all federal holidays observed by City employees.

Rates: $1.30/hour for the first three hours. $1.50/hour after the first three hours.
